Supply request

Driver parks next to the pump and requests fuel.

MOBILE version

parking takes place next to the tank truck.

Operator and driver identification
2

Operator and driver identification

The operator identifies the driver and himself in the micro terminal via card or ID and enters his password.

MOBILE version

The Automated Nozzle is positioned before the identification on the terminal, that is, there is an inversion between steps 2 and 3.

Automated nozzle positioning
3

Automated nozzle positioning

The automated nozzle is positioned by the operator at the tank entrance and identifies the vehicle by reading the DIV (Vehicle Identification Device).

The automated nozzle is positioned before the identification on the terminal, that is, there is an inversion between steps 2 and 3.

Odometer or hour meter record
4

Odometer or hour meter record

The TX Module (optional) installed in the vehicle, automatically captures information from the odometer or hour meter and communicates wirelessly with other IONICS devices.

Fuel flow release
5

Fuel flow release

With authorized fueling, the fuel flow is released by the pump drive control and the Operator starts fueling.

Frequently asked questions

  • How much does a solution to automate my fleet cost?

The investment will vary according to the desired scope and level of automation. From R$20,000.00, it is possible to automate 01 filling nozzles and 10 vehicles.

  • I don't have an internet signal, can I automate?

Yes, in addition to the possibility of WI-FI communication, we have communication modules via 2.4Ghz Radio, GPRS, 3G and 4G.

  • Is it possible to automate lubricants?

Yes. We have both the simplest modality that works as a data collector and that does not involve the acquisition of specific infrastructure items and automation, as well as the most complete solution that allows automating the entire lubrication process, controlling the volumetry and fuel flow in an automated.

  • Can I control fleet preventive maintenance through automation?

Yes, preventive maintenance can be programmed both in SAAF and imported from the customer's ERP. In this way, our automation will automatically know when to carry out maintenance, it will continue with the routine of questions and answers that will need to be answered by the operator directly in the IONICS terminal.

  • Will I have a reduction in my fuel consumption after automated?

We've never had a customer who didn't notice a reduction, there's always something to be adjusted. The percentage of the reduction is proportional to the size of the customer's problem. We've already had customers who have reduced consumption by more than 40%. In addition, cases of giving up using the solution are very rare, which in itself reveals an excellent perception of gain on the part of IONICS customers.

  • Why invest in automation for fuel control?

To ensure MANAGEMENT based on real data, SAVE time through efficiency and process optimization and SAVE money by avoiding waste and deviations.

  • What is the minimum consumption to invest in automation?

There is no minimum consumption. It all depends on what main problem needs to be solved. Normally we attack two big problems: the ECONOMY and the MANAGEMENT. When the customer's interest is primarily SAVINGS, it usually means a perception of GREATER fuel PURCHASE than controlled CONSUMPTION, which can mean deviation, waste or simply lack of control. In these cases, the customer tends to compare the value referring to the percentage difference (purchase X consumption) with the investment value in an automated fleet supply system, in order to make his decision to invest or not in the solution. When the customer has MANAGEMENT as a priority interest, the minimum consumption becomes irrelevant, as what he is looking for is a reliable solution that gives compliance and security support to shareholders, partners, investors and other stakeholders. The investment is made to solve the pain of lack of data security for making important decisions for the customer.

  • I supply at a trading post (external), can I automate it?

Only if the percentage of supplies at commercial stations is very small to the point of not being the main pain, since supplies made at commercial stations will be entered manually into the system, without any control from the IONICS automation.

  • What is the difference between an external (commercial) and an internal filling station?

External (commercial): when the customer fills up at commercial stations, usually located in cities and highways.

Internal: when the customer has an internal supply structure (station and/or train). Normally buys fuel directly from the Distributor or from TRRs. Among the main advantages of having an internal supply structure, the most competitive prices and optimized logistics in the supply process stand out.
